Santa Fe County to Host La Cienega/La Cieneguilla Planning Committee Meetings SANTA FE, NM –

The Santa Fe County’s (County) Planning Division is scheduled to host planning committee meetings to help facilitate the update of the La Cienega and La Cieneguilla (LCLC) Community Plan in alignment with the County’s Sustainable Growth Management Plan. The LCLC Planning Committee, in collaboration with Santa Fe County and the La Cienega Valley Association, will hold planning committee meetings on the third Tuesday of each month, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (unless otherwise posted) at the La Cienega Community Center (136 Camino San Jose, Santa Fe, NM 87507). Meetings are open to all community members. This is your opportunity to help guide land-use rules and regulations for the future of your community.
The Community Plan is a planning tool intended to preserve and protect unique communities and areas through the development and implementation of a community-driven plan. At each Planning Committee meeting, the County will work on revising the 2015 LCLC Community Plan. To accommodate the diverse community, the event will offer Spanish translation on-site, along with translated educational materials. Santa Fe County ensures the availability of auxiliary aids or services for meetings and programs. Individuals requiring such services can contact the Santa Fe County Planning Division at 505-986-2452 in advance to address specific needs, such as interpreters for the hearing impaired or readers for the visually impaired.
The La Cienega/La Cieneguilla Planning Committee meetings will play a vital role in the community planning process, allowing community members to share their insights and visions with Santa Fe County staff, and help shape the future of their community.
