About the Board
The LCVA Board is comprised of ten representatives and a president. There are six elected regional or district representatives, two each from La Cieneguilla, Lower La Cienega and Upper La Cienega. El Rancho de Las Golondrinas serves as the boundary between Upper and Lower La Cienega. Each of the acequias, the Acequia de La Cienega, the El Guicu Ditch Association, and Acequia de la Capilla have one representative each, who is selected by their membership, and the Pueblo of Pojoaque has one representative. In addition, the Board has established a La Cieneguilla Subcommittee to address issues facing that area, and the La Cieneguilla Subcommittee specifically is charged with organizing and coordinating PFAS Task Force meetings with Santa Fe County.
