Who We Are

The La Cienega Valley Association (LCVA) is an entirely volunteer-based domestic non-profit organization, which is registered as a Community Organization under section 2.2 of the Santa Fe County Sustainable Land Development Code. The LCVA Board is made up of eleven volunteers from Upper and Lower La Cienega, La Cieneguilla, the Pueblo of Pojoaque, Acequia de la Cienega, Acequia de la Capilla and El Guicu Ditch. The LCVA seeks to promote and preserve the rural and agricultural history, culture and traditions of the La Cienega and La Cieneguilla areas and to work with local residents and government entities to ensure that the community's voice is heard.
